Your vacation in the Ötztal: Certified and recommended by guests

Our apartment house in Tyrol has already won various awards: "4 flowers" and a certificate from "Holiday on a farm", the title "Bio- und Gesundheitsbauhof" (Organic and Health farm) and since 1999 the designation "Tiroler Vitalhof" (Tyrolean Vitality Farm).

The bright apartments are built with sustainable materials and impress with inviting wooden furniture in country style.

All apartments are equipped with a kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom and balcony.

For our smallest guests we provide a crib, high chair and night lights free of charge. There is also a children's playroom for cozy rainy days or deep snowy winter days.

The wellness area welcomes you with a sauna and an infrared cabin.

The Veitenhof: the ideal equestrian farm in Tyrol

We, the Leiter family, combine in a special way the love of nature and animals. While grandma Rosmarie, as a trained herbalist, explains the many uses of spices and medicinal plants during herbal walks, Gustl has long been on the road with the horse-drawn carriage: the Haflinger horses from his own breeding are his pride and joy. Our equestrian farm in Tyrol enjoys an excellent reputation among horse lovers and anyone planning a riding vacation in this region for adults or the whole family. For this reason, horseback riding, carriage rides and horse care are all part of the vacation program when you spend your family vacation at the Veitenhof in the Ötztal Valley.

Summer vacation in Niederthai

In the spring and summer months we often have visitors who like to spend their hiking vacation in the Ötztal or explore the beautiful surroundings on a mountain bike. On our sunny, quiet plateau, both children's and parents' hearts beat faster. In addition to the border-free, safe adventure playground and the petting animals, you can indulge in the following activities:

Sports in nature are becoming more and more popular and with us the desire for hiking, mountain biking, mountaineering, Nordic walking and running starts right in front of our door. Bathing and at the same time you can find peace in the bathing lake Umhausen, which is only 7 km away from our farm.

A winter vacation in Niederthai

A vacation in Niederthai in our charming accommodation is an experience for our sporty and active guests during the whole year: if you spend your winter vacation in the Ötztal, you will find ideal conditions for skiing in our popular family skiing area.

Niederthai is the only place in the Ötztal with the Niederhtai Card, with which you can ski for free in our family ski area. With an altitude of 1550m above sea level, it thus offers winter sports enthusiasts a particularly high level of snow safety. Another indication of quality in winter is a cross-country skiing trail over 22km, awarded with the Tyrolean seal of quality, with a biathlon - facility.

In addition, Niederthai offers an extensive winter hiking trail network.
