The heart of our senior manager, August Leiter, is wholly devoted to the golden beauties on four legs: Our homebred Haflinger horses are sure-footed, resilient, robust, and consistently award-winning.

The Haflinger horses epitomize the breed of the Tyrolean Alps. Small yet powerful, sure-footed and calm, they are perfectly suited for riding, carriage driving, and load transport. These golden beauties navigate narrow mountain paths and rugged terrains with ease. The Tyrolean Haflinger breeding is legendary, and we at Veitenhof take great pride in our awarded broodmares, our lively offspring, and our world champion stallion "STAINZ," who hails from our stable.


During your family vacation on the farm, you simply cannot miss the gentle Haflingers: Even the youngest children will be led on horseback by Michael Leiter (Michl), and through shared horse care, trail rides, carriage rides, and surely while petting our adorable Haflinger foals, the "Haflinger virus" will undoubtedly capture your hearts!
